The UK Local Councils are turning down the applications of future housing projects according to the government’s advise to cut down the number of homes in the UK. But this situation had made an increase in prices of existing houses. This has made an artificial support to the present economy but owing to the unstable situation in the UK property market during the last few years this will not be a perfect solution.

People have hopes in the new government to pay more attention on housing strategies of the country and most are waiting for a ‘green light’ on housing projects. It is believe that if the government approves the new housing developments eventually it will trim down the market value of homes.

At the same time it is an unavoidable situation of price hike in the housing market if the authorities block the new housing development projects. It is up to the new government to decide which situation is more cost-effective!
